Smithfield, NC: Mr. William Floyd Harper, Sr., age 73, of Black Creek Road passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at Golden Years Nursing Home in Falcon.
Mr. Harper was born on February 28, 1952 in Burlington County, New Jersey to the late Irv and Mary Miller Harper. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his great grandson, Lucas Harper. He retired as an Autobody tech from Jr.’s Paint and Body after 36 years. He loved to fish.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Diane Harper; sons, William Floyd Harper, Jr., Bryan Keith Harper and wife, Pam, Michael Paul Harper and wife, Joy, and Stephen Thomas Harper; grandchildren, Tyler Watson, Brandon Harper, Joseph Harper, Connor Harper, Brantley Harper, Colby Blackmon, Tyler Hall, and Sierra Hautamaki; great grandchildren, Camden Blackmon, Ellyn Blackmon, Naomi Harper, and Vincent Blackmon; sister, Jerry Harper; and many nieces and nephews.
