William Landis Obituary

William F. Landis of Lambertville, NJ, passed away at his home on Friday, June 20, 2025. He was 98 years old.
Born in Doylestown, PA, Bill grew up in Bucks County. He came to Lambertville over 75 years ago when he married Lorraine Buchanan, a local girl. Together they raised their daughters Deborah and Brenda and were devoted to their grandchildren and their families.
Bill proudly served with the US Navy during World War 2. He worked for Texas Eastern Transmission Corporation (now Spectra) in Mount Airy for over 40 years. He was an avid golfer and walker and always rooted for the Phillies.
Bill was the husband of the late Lorraine Buchanan Landis and the son of the late Harrison and Ethel Fisher Landis. He is survived by his daughters Deborah L. Fuzo of Lambertville and Brenda L. Murr and her husband Kenneth of Lewis, Delaware; his cherished friend and companion Patricia Reed of Lambertville; his grandchildren Amanda McCaffrey and her husband Edward of Lambertville, Allison Ducote and her husband Dave of Milton, DE, Morgan Murr of Lewis, Zachary Murr and his wife Marissa of Milton; his great-grandchildren Cooper McCaffrey, Tanner McCaffrey, Hunter Roadenbaugh, Haley Roadenbaugh, Dane Ducote, Anthony Filipponi, Peyton Vied, Wyatt Murr and Colton Murr.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025 at 12 noon at the Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, 21 York Street, Lambertville, NJ 08530.
Interment with military honors will follow at Holcombe-Riverview Cemetery, Lambertville, NJ.
There will be visitation at the funeral home on Monday morning from 11 am until the start of services.
