William Reed Chester Smith, age 24, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. He was born on April 18, 2001 to Ryan and Janet (Cary) Smith.
Will was a kind, caring, funny, and charismatic soul who was deeply loved by all who knew him. He had a gift for lighting up any room with his laughter and charm. He was a devoted son and a fun-loving, goofy brother.
He enjoyed video gaming, snowboarding, hiking, and playing basketball. Whether he was spending time outdoors or hanging out with friends, Will made every moment memorable by keeping those around him constantly entertained and smiling. His tuna can never failed to impress.
Will leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Will is survived by his parents Ryan and Janet Smith; sisters, Britany and Kate Smith; nephew, Hyde Kroener; grandparents: William and Marlene Cary, Reed and Deborah Smith, Donna and Chet Keizer; great grandfathers, Donald Votaw and James Cary; best friend Mecella Ochoa, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Private family services will be held.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Stoneyard in Greenville on June 4, from 4-7pm.
