William R. "Bill" Stashonsky, (a hard worker, family man and friend to everyone) age 75, of Cambridge, OH passed away Tuesday July 15, 2025 at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. William was born on March 21, 1950 to the late Raymond Stashonsky and Mildred Vandergrift Stashonsky Peak in Cambridge, OH. Bill was a truck driver and was an owner operator for 50 years. He had alove for old cars and enjoyed working in the garage with his sons and grandkids and many friends. What he enjoyed most was spending time with his family, who meant the world to him.
Along with his parents Bill is preceded in death by one son, John Richard Stashonsky. One brother, John Stashonsky. Sister-in-law, Myrna Valentine. Brother-in-laws: Therman and Russ Valentine, Dick Berger. Special friends, John and Bonnie Rayburn.
Bill is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sharon Giesey Stashonsky whom he married March 14, 1970. Two daughters, Cindy (Matt) O'Donnell and Jessica (Brian) Peters both of Cambridge, OH. One son William M. (Joy) Stashonsky of Cambridge, OH. Eight grandchildren: Bailey (Trey) Black, Lexis O'Donnell, Josilyn, Ella, Mikenna Stashonsky, Paisley Neff, Blake and Brock Stashonsky. Two great grandchildren, Klein and Coy Black. Daughter-in-law, Julie (Brian) Fulks of Zanesville, OH. Brother-in-laws, Don Valentine, John (Pam) Valentine. Sister-in-laws, Janice Berger and Jean Valentine. Special friends, Larry and Lee Ann Cunningham. Many nieces and nephews and many other special friends who were like family.
There will be a graveside service 1:30 Friday July 18, 2025 at Northwood Cemetery with Josh Haught officiating.
