William J. Tschantz, 82, of Warsaw Indiana, passed away peacefully, July 15, 2025, in his home.
William was born in Huntington, Indiana to Marion and Mary (Renz) Tschantz, on October 23, 1942.
He would graduate from North Webster Highschool in 1961and go on to work for Othy, Inc. here in Warsaw, Indiana for over 35 years, until his retirement in December of 1998.
In 1962, he married the love of his life Lillian Lakey in Warsaw, Indiana. They lovingly raised a daughter, Kelly Tschantz of Warsaw, Indiana, and son Doug Lulu Tschantz of Longmont, Colorado.
William enjoyed spending time with his family, especially enjoying time in the Colorado Mountains. He had a great passion for muscle cars attending many shows and events. He also enjoyed the peace that gardening brought to him.
He is survived by his loving wife Lillian, daughter Kelly, and son Doug.
Preceded in death by his parents Marion and Mary (Remz) Tschantz.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Oakwood Cemetery. A private family memorial will take place at a later date.
