Willie Mae Sandrell, age 90, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Friday, February 09, 2024, at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Blount County, AL, a retired bookkeeper at Sandrell's Used Cars, and a member of New Prospect Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Cecil and Mae Belle Miller Clayton; her husband, Carl Franklin 'Pee-Wee' Sandrell; one brother, Clyde Boling; and two sisters, Dorothy Wheeler and Helen Jean Phillips.

She is survived by one daughter, Deborah Murphy (Pete) of Smyrna, TN; one son, Wade Sandrell (Lydiana) of Nashville, TN; four grandchildren, Jason Ray McAfee (Kylie) of Franklin, TN, Eric Adam Esters (Whitney) of Bloomington, IN, Caroline Anne Sandrell (Jonathan) of Hendersonville, TN, Carlton Wade Sandrell II of Nashville, TN; three great-grandchildren, Coleman Hubbard, Cooper Bowman McAfee, and Ivy Mae McAfee; sisters-in-law, Lois Bostelman and Shelby Jean Brown, both of Columbia, TN; brother-in-law, Marvin Ray Sandrell of Columbia, TN; many beautiful nieces and handsome nephews. Those serving as pallbearers will be Jason McAfee, Cooper McAfee, Eric Esters, Pete Murphy, Mark Bostelman, Carlton Sandrell, II, Jonathan Grutzius, and Mike Griffin. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Bostelman, Kal Bostelman, Marvin Sandrell, Lester Boling, Darrell Boling, and Eddie Boling.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to a loving friend and caregiver, Christine Jackson, New Prospect Church of Christ, Patti Odom & The Summit employees, and Keestone Assisted Living.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at Mimosa Cemetery at 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 14, 2024, with Leslie Shadrick officiating. The family suggests memorials be made to New Prospect Church of Christ.
