Willie Yarbrough Obituary

Willie Ewell Yarbrough, age 80, transitioned from this world on Sunday June 29,2025. He was born August 26,1944 in Gibson County to the late Dalton and Elizabeth Yarbrough. Willie was a resident of Dyer, Tennessee, who was known and loved by many in the community. He could be found many days sitting on the porch or riding around the town with family. Willie was no stranger to hard work, spent many years working at DANA, and pouring concrete. He loved to be around family and was everyone's fun "Uncle Willie."
Willie leaves behind four daughters: Cynthia Yarbrough of Jackson, Tennessee; Tina McGaughy of Memphis, Tennessee; Kelly Yarbrough and Felicia Bew both of Joliet, Illinois. Willie also leaves two bonus children: Victor Skinner of Greenfield, Tennessee, and Chiquita (Kevin) Perry of Atlanta, Georgia. He leaves behind three siblings: Karene Holder, Carolyn Yarbrough, and Diane Yarbrough all of Dyer, Tennessee. Willie leaves behind fifteen grandchildren, forty-two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones. He had to two special nieces who took care of him in his last days LaWanda Clark and Carla Ewell.
Preceded him in death Willie's parents Dalton and Elizabeth Yarbrough; his son Willie "Jap" O. Yarbrough; grandson Michael Yarbrough; two sisters: Hazel Yarbrough Nolan and Bobbie Ann Wade; and one brother-in-law James Holder.
