Wilma Faye Buchanan, 81, passed away March 6, 2025, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Perry County on November 2, 1943, to the late Leonard and Lila (Jarboe) Brown.
Wilma was married to Herbert Buchanan on May 31, 1974, and they shared 42 wonderful years together before his passing in 2017.
She enjoyed crocheting and gambling and loved spending time with family and her dog Larry.
Surviving are her brother, Bob (Becky) Brown; her sister, Goldie Hollinden; her son, David (Kelly) Peter; her daughters, Connie (Eugene) Graham, Tammy (Warren) Devillez, and Charlotte Taylor; and her son-in-law, Jamie Stafford. Wilma was also blessed with 10 grandchildren Angel (Dave) Beertzer, Whitney (Ian) Jarboe, Derek Peter, Chase (Erika) Dupont, Ty (Carissa) Dupont, Justin Peter, Gavin (Brandi) Devillez, Breanna (Ryan) Devillez, Sidney (Triston) Taylor; and 6 great-grandchildren, with a great-great-grandson on the way.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Wilma was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Peters; brothers, Curt and Larry Brown; and her daughter, Angie Stafford.
Per Wilma's request there will be no services.
