Yolanda Jean (Parker) Denson was born on December 21, 1960, to Paul Dean Parker and Lula Belle Parker in Garland, Texas. She transitioned to eternity with her Lord and Savior in Dallas, Texas on July 28, 2024.
Yolanda graduated from South Garland High School in 1979. She went on to enjoy a career in administration and medical billing, working for various companies.
Affectionately regarded as "Yo", "YoYo", "Yogi", and "Londa Jean", Yolanda married the love of her life on June 24, 1987. To this union, three children were loved and nurtured. The two remained united in holy matrimony until her transition.
Yolanda accepted Christ and remained faithful in her Christian journey. She was a member of the African Methodist Episcopal denomination - St. Luke A.M.E. Church and St. James A.M.E. Church.
Among many hobbies, Yolanda was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. She also delighted in shopping, photography, interior decorating, and anything related to family. She will be fondly remembered for her dependable, daring, diligent, and thorough nature. Her selfless and loving spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Dean Parker; mother, Lula Belle Parker; son, Trebreh Jermaine "TJ" Denson; father-in-law, Hubert Lemon Denson; and mother-in-law, Mary Faye Denson.
Those left to cherish precious memories include her husband of 37 years, Herbert Ray Denson; her daughter, Tiffany Renee Denson; son, Torrey Tremaine Denson; bonus daughter, Ashley Nicole Denson; godson, Jackson Makaio Davis; brother, Paul A. Parker; sister, Carolyn Denise Jones; sister, Janet Parker; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and loved ones.
