Yvonne was in Detroit on May 28, 1957, daughter of the late Lloyd and Violet (Brow) Hersha. The family moved to the Ishpeming area shortly after Yvonne was born. Yvonne worked in nursing for many years, providing care for residents at several area nursing homes, as well as group homes.
Yvonne and her husband James Krellwitz were married on June 22, 1985, they were married just shy of 40 years. Yvonne enjoyed gardening and working in the yard, reading, was known for being artistic, and enjoyed playing computer games.
Yvonne is survived by her husband- James Krellwitz, 2 daughters- Jenifer Petersen, Jessica (Chad) Cram, 2 sisters- Donna Walker, Florence Richards, 4 grandchildren- Jayden and Owen Cram, Chloe and Madison Petersen, niece and nephew- Lori and Michael, along with several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers-in-law- Thomas Walker and Jim Richards.
Following Yvonne's wishes, cremation will take place with no public services.
Yvonne's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Lake Superior Life Care and Hospice for the loving care they gave to Yvonne during her time with them.
