Zoraida Kudijeda Waddell departed this life on Sunday, July 6th, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on Friday, August 5, 1949, in beautiful Hawaii, Zoraida lived a life full of love, dedication, and faith.

Zoraida was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Danville, VA. She was known for her unwavering commitment to praying the rosary every day at 3 p.m.

Professionally, Zoraida worked in inspections at Filcrerst. Outside of work, she had a passion for gardening, nurturing plants and flowers with the same care and love she extended to those around her.

Zoraida was preceded in death by her cherished mother, Angelica Kudijeda; and her stepfather, Donyella Garcia. She is survived by her loving husband, Eugene C. Waddell, Jr.; and her step-brothers.

A Funeral Mass to honor and celebrate Zoraida's life will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Danville, VA, on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Prior to the Mass, a visitation will take place at the church from 10 to 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park.
