MICHAEL GREEN Obituary

MICHAEL WARREN GREEN Michael Warren Green, born on February 22, 1958, in Ridgecrest, Calif., passed away on March 4, 2025, in Oklahoma City. Michael spent many years as a mechanic at George Fischer Central Plastics and retired after 30 years. His technical skills were matched only by his kind heart and selfless demeanor. He was a friend to many, defined not only by his humorous spirit but by a deep-seated compassion for others, always eager to lend a helping hand. Michael graduated from Burrough's High School in Ridgecrest and later served in the United States Navy. Throughout his life, Michael's passions varied widely - from spending time with his faithful dog Ella, to his love for NASCAR, OSU football, and classic rock music. He cherished spending time with his grandson, TK, and was known for hosting yearly Super Bowl parties that brought family and friends together. Among his fondest memories were casino nights at the Grand and attending concerts with his beloved wife, Nita, and daughter, Marlene. Michael's proudest accomplishments included his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, each of whom he adored and invested in wholeheartedly. His traits of kindness and fierce love will be remembered fondly by those who had the privilege of knowing him. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife Nita Green, brother Keith Green, mother Marlene Green, and father Arold Green. Those left to cherish his memory are daughter Marlene Stafford and husband Ken, grandson Kenneth "TK" Stafford and new grandson on the way of Shawnee, son Jeremiah Green, grandkids, Jaelyn, Jaeda, and Jaesten Green of Shawnee, son Michael Green and wife Malita, grandkids, Symphony Green, Shaniah and husband Dante Taylor and great-grandson, Banks Taylor of Shawnee, daughter Faith Jacoway and husband Will, grandkids, Destanie, Serenity, and Ananias Jacoway, great-grandson, Jordan Jacoway of Tecumseh, sister Kathy Roquemore and husband Bruce of California, and nieces, Caitlyn Castillo and Allyssa Potts. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Walker Funeral & Cremation Service. Viewing will be held on Saturday, March 8 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and again on Sunday, March 9 from 1 to 5 p.m. A funeral ceremony will take place on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Walker Funeral Chapel. Following the ceremony, Michael will be laid to rest at Tecumseh Cemetery. Those serving as pallbearer are Ken Stafford, Will Jacoway, Jeremiah Green, Michael Green, Dante Taylor, and Rocky Allen. Honorary pallbearers will be Ananias Jacoway, Jaesten Green, TK Stafford, Jordan Jacoway, and Banks Taylor.
