Kenneth Johnson Obituary

Kenneth Joseph Johnson

Kenneth Joseph Johnson passed away unexpectedly on July 16, 2025. Ken was born in a naval hospital in Charleston, SC, on January 12, 1973. He leaves behind his beloved daughter, Kara Leeann Johnson, whom he loved with all his heart.

Ken was a devoted father and brother who found great joy in watching Kara grow through her involvement in sports, especially volleyball; spending time with his dogs; and cherishing their family trips to the beach.

He is survived by his parents, Bob and Marylee Johnson of Forest, VA; his brother, Keith Johnson, and Keith's wife, Karen, and his niece, Annabel, all of Forest Hills, PA. On his mother's side, Ken is remembered by many members of the Bryant family in Maryland, Georgia, and North Carolina. On his father's side, he is survived by relatives in Georgia and Indiana.

Ken graduated from Jefferson Forest High School in 1991 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business from Virginia Tech. He was most recently employed as a Neuroscience Sales Representative with Intra-Cellular Therapies.

The service is Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 3015 Roundelay Rd., Lynchburg, VA. A reception will follow.

Any memorial tributes could go to your local Humane Society, or charity of your choice. Ken loved his dogs and cats.

Ken and I worked in the same industry and I would occasionally see him at breakfast at the same office that always fell on Fridays. He was a nice guy! I always enjoyed his company! He often would talk about his daughter. Prayers with the family! He will be missed!
