Absolutely wonderful person. Mr. Savarese was my homeroom teacher. Kind and always fun, Mr. Savarese loved kids.
Sorry I never had him as a teacher.

I´m a 1979 graduate of Walt Whitman High School and I remember Mr Savarese well. Always a kind man even though I was horrible in science. He made it interesting even if I didn´t understand a lot of it. I´m sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences to his family and friends.
