William G. Heavlin, age 89, of Boynton Beach, Florida, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025, in Florida following a brief illness.
William was born on December 27, 2025, in Waldo, Ohio, to the late William L. and Clara (Kramer) Heavlin.
William was married to the love of his life Naomi L. (Disbennett) Heavlin at the Zion United Church of Christ on November 5, 1955. The two went on to enjoy 52 wonderful years of marriage together, before Naomi's passing in April of 2007.
In his spare time, William enjoyed Karaoke with his friends and his son Billy. William also loved to show his cars off at local car shows.
Those left to cherish the memories of William include his daughters Piper (Rick) Ream, Faith (Bill) Hogan; son William "Billy" (Jim Murphy) Heavlin; grandchildren Tabitha (Jesse) Hofer, Derrick (Amber) Ream, Mallory (Amy) Caldwell, and Hillary (Kevin Knight) Caldwell; as well as eleven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, William G. Heavlin was preceded in death by his loving wife Naomi Heavlin; four sisters; and one brother.
A memorial gathering will be held from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025, at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center in Delaware, Ohio.
The internment of William's ashes will take place later at Oak Grove Cemetery in Delaware, Ohio.
