Betty was a shining star in a constellation of sisters. That's how I knew her - as the sister of my maternal grandmother, my great aunt. I know there was a brother in that mix of gals, but it was the ladies I heard chatting and laughing. Betty was one to reach out and connect, to actively hold generations together.

It seems she was blessed to live the entirety of her life with physical and intellectual strength, and that is good.

Her presence will be greatly missed, but I know she's on to something wonderful.
