Dear Becky and Gene,
We are so very sorry about the loss of your dad, he was truly one of the good guys, yes, I can hear
him now with that laugh and telling stories, he was so great with my kids, and always worked with us, would help out at the drop of a hat, his red truck and so so many great memories. He will be missed by many, what a good life he lived and what a legacy he leaves behind. Great guy.
sincerely, Marie and Rich Walston

Gene, Becky and Family -
So sorry to hear that your Dad passed.
Your Mom and Dad were like second parents to me growing up. So many great afternoons up on that hill. Your Dad could make anything fun for us Gene - even yard chores!
I was fortunate enough to have stopped by a couple times in recent years to visit them.
Your Dad is surely missed. I wish you strength though all of this. My sympathy to you all for your loss.

Rebecca, Jeff, Isabel, Olivia and family,
I´m so thankful for Gene´s dedication to Guilford, your family and so much more. From being a customer on my paper route in the 60s, to my neighbor two does down in the 90s, to always being a family friend and growing up along side my Dad and his cousins, lots of memories made.
May his hard work and teachings carry on through the next generations.
Peace and Blessings for his Life.

My condolences to his family. I am so sorry to hear of Genes´ passing. I remember him coming up to the farm to do electrical work for my father. I appreciated his help looking at some things after my mom passed to determine value of antiques. I would often think of Gene through the years.
