Joyce Webster Obituary

Joyce Webster, 81, of Spirit Lake, formerly of Rochester, MN, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Spirit Lake. A family graveside service will be held in the Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. Arrangements are under the direction of the Robinson Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. Online condolences may be left at www.spiritlakefuneralhome.com Joyce Ann Webster was born on September 22, 1943, in Hector, MN, to Lawrence and Clara (Baumann) Hagemeister. She graduated from Hector High School. Joyce was united in marriage to James W. Webster on December 30, 1965. He preceded her in death on January 5, 2016, in Watkins, MN. She worked as a Payroll Clerk for various department stores. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, bird watching, playing with her cat Nico, going to barbecues with family and friends and playing cards. She is survived by her daughter Katie (Alan) Theesfeld of Spirit Lake, IA; son James (Rebecca) Webster of Rochester, MN; grandchildren James, Darian, Savannah Webster, Braden, Ariana and Nolan Theesfeld; sister Joan Lockhart of Rosemont, MN; and brother Adrian Hagemeister. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, granddaughter Ashley Webster, sister Ruth Hopman, brother-in-law Gerald Hopman, and brother-in-law Russ Lockhart.
