Michael "Mike" Grant Myles, 64, of Holgate, Ohio, passed away on July 24, 2025.
He was born on Dec. 20, 1960, in Napoleon. Mike was a beloved son of the late Larry and Dororthy Myles.
Mike was a loving husband to Theresa (Faber); his two sons, Orvil (Kylie) Myles of Holgate, Alexander (Amanda) Myles of New Bavaria; four granddaughters, Caroline Myles, Callie Myles, Ava Myles and Addalyn Myles; his sister, Sandra (Dave) Houck of Napoleon; sister-in-law Jeanette (Jim) Myles of New Bavaria, Linda (Al) Lapinski of New Bavaria, Patricia (Martin) Nezick of Defiance, Debra (Tom) Stevens of New Bavaria; brother-in-law James ( Melissa) Faber of New Bavaria, Timothy (Sarah) Faber of Ottawa; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jim Myles; mother and father-in-law, Marcele and Eugene Faber; and brother-in-law, John Faber.
Mike retired from the operator's union after dedicating 35 years. He then worked part time for Benchmark Drilling in Ottawa, Ohio. Mike loved to help others and could always be found fixing something.
His passion was farming alongside his family. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
A memorial visitation will take place at the Zachrich Family Funeral Home, Holgate, Ohio, from 2-7 p.m. on July 28, 2025. The memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Bavaria, on July 29, 2025 at 10:30 am with luncheon following.
Donations can be made to Maumee Vallery Sportsman Club or CHP Hospice Care in Defiance, Ohio.
