With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Jamie Knowles on July 21, 2025, at the age of 69. Jamie was a vibrant, joyful soul who lived life to the fullest and filled every room with laughter and love.
Born on May 14, 1956, Jamie was the beloved daughter of the late Bernice and James Gronceski. She is also preceded in death by her sisters, Patricia Pruchnick and Nancy Dearman.
She is survived by her children Jason (Jeanette) Moore, Jeremy Moore, and her loving daughter Patricia Knowles (Dan Trujillo) and her cherished grandchildren Savannah and Sahara Knowles, Caden Moore, and Rowan Trujillo; along with her devoted significant other, Ed Chartier. She also leaves behind her loving siblings, Debie Gronceski and Jeff Gronceski.
Jamie was more than a mother and grandmother - she was the heart and soul of her family. Her love was unconditional, her spirit unshakable, and her laugh unforgettable. She had a passion for music and brought love and happiness into the lives of everyone around her.
She was simply the best mother and grandmother her family could have had, and we were the lucky ones to call her Mom and Granny.
Jamie's legacy is one of love, laughter, and light. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
There will be a celebration of life for her friends and family when everyone is ready. No immediate timetable is planned, details will be shared at a later time.

Debbie and Jeff, I am so sad to learn of your loss... I'd just been thinking of you all recently, remembering slow, wonderful summers, and wondering how different they would have been if you guys hadn't arrived to give new life to our neighborhood. I took her on a weekend trip to Florida and she got in the back of my truck under some stuff to surprise Jeremy Moore to see the reaction on the faces of those two was for sure nothing I will ever forget
