Born: March 6, 1941 in Cary, IL
Died: October 12, 2025 in McHenry, IL
Kenneth James Kvidera, age 84, of Cary, IL, passed away on Oct 12. He was born March 6, 1941 in Cary, IL to his loving parents, Francis "Curly" and Margaret "Marge" (née Kosta) Kvidera. He was a dedicated member of Ss. Peter & Paul Church. He attended Ss. Peter & Paul School and St. Mary's High School in Woodstock.
Ken proudly served in the United States Army and was a licensed plumber. He was also a committed member of The Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed gardening, meticulously caring for his lawn, feeding the birds, and playing golf. He also enjoyed ending his day with a good bourbon.
Above all, Ken will be remembered for his devotion to his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Nancy (née Tamarri); his son, James (Heather); and his daughters, Karen (Edward) and Julie (Rob). He also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Jacob, Michael, Megan, Molly, Max, Brynn, and Kate.
Visitation will be 9am until mass at 11am, Friday, Oct 17, at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 410 N. First St, Cary. Fr. Akan Simon will be officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Ken's name to the Dominican Sisters of Springfield and St Vincent de Paul Society. Final arrangements entrusted to Kahle-Moore Funeral Home.
