Lucille M. "Lucy" Diedrick, 88, of Woodstock, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 8, 2025. She was born April 25, 1937, in Harmony, the daughter of Werner and Tessie (Romke) Hacker. She married her childhood sweetheart, Clinton Diedrick on June 22, 1957, at Sacred Heart Church in Marengo. Lucy enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, fishing and babysitting her grandchildren. She is survived by her children Jeffrey, Jack (Susan), and Susan (Curt) Simons; grandchildren, Meagan (Brian) DeSerto, Hillary (Mike) Wessel, Danielle Rudsinski, Brett Simons, Hannah (Matt) Clayton, and Ethan Diedrick; great grandchildren, Sadee DeSerto, Logan, Emerson, Sawyer Wessel, Braelynn & Brooks Rudsinski; siblings, Jan (Len) Pfaffinger, Kathy (Gene) Paprocki; sister-in-law, Sandy Hacker. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clinton in 2017; brother, Bob Hacker; and in-laws, Christ & Louise Diedrick. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church 297 E. Jefferson Ave. In Hampshire from 4-8 pm and will continue on Wednesday morning, October 15th at Fredrick Funeral Home, 284 Park St. in Hampshire from 9 -10 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 297 E. Jefferson Ave, October 15th. Burial will follow at Marengo City Cemetery. Memorials in Lucy's name may be directed to Harmony Cemetery, "John Henning", 1111 Deerpass Road, Marengo, IL 60152.
