Henry Timko was born on February 26, 1944 to George and Emily (Klimek) Timko and was a lifelong resident of the Whiting-Robertsdale Community. He was a graduate of Hammond Technical Vocational High School and was a retiree of Republic Steel, Chicago, with a service of 35 years. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and was a longtime member of the Whiting-Robertsdale Boat Club. Hank loved nature and the outdoors. His interests ranged from hunting and fishing; to boating and iceboating; to classic cars ('64, GTO) and drag racing. He enjoyed relaxing with his family and friends at the Hammond Marina, Cruise Nights, concerts and events in town and in his own back yard. Hank was often seen enjoying the simple pleasure of driving his pick-up truck around town and to the local lakes and parks, often with family members at his side. Devoted to his family, Hank will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. (219) 659-4400.

Dear Paula, We were so sorry to hear about Hank´s passing. Although we never got to know him because of our long distance, it sounds like we would have enjoyed his company.
Sending hugs and love from Florida with much sympathy.
