Kathleen J. "Kathy" Crowley (nee Taylor)

Kathleen J. "Kathy" Crowley (nee Taylor) 71 of Whiting, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 1, 2025 surrounded by her most cherished family. She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Paul; loving mother of Kathleen "Michelle" Brown and Jenifer Toth; adoring grandma of Kayla (Jax) LaFlech, Hailey Brown, Abigail Toth and Nolan Toth; dearest sister of Joy, Candy and Bill Taylor, Judi (Paul) Makis, JoAnn (late Stanley) Herubin and the late Lolly Myers, Steve and Jack Taylor; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 11:00a.m. at the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th St., Whiting; interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Crown Point; visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on-line at www.baranfh.com.

Kathy Crowley was born on October 19, 1953 in Bessemer, Alabama to Elmo, Jr and Alma Jean (Wilder) Taylor and was a longtime resident of Whiting. She was a retiree of the Valero Energy Corporation with over 20 years of service. Devoted to her family Kathy will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. (219) 659-4400.
