Mary Kent Obituary

Mary M. Kent, 79, of Morgantown, W.Va., died Thursday, January 23, 2025, in the Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown. She was born May 11, 1945, in Pine Bank, a daughter of the late John Kent and Helen Snell Kent. Miss Kent was an administrative assistant at Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown for many years. Surviving are two brothers, John Scott Kent of Beaver, and Harry Wesley Kent of Waynesburg; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Copeland and Gracie Sweeney. At the request of the deceased, her body will be cremated and her cremains buried in the Pine Bank Cemetery with other family members. The Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville is in charge of arrangements.
