Ellen Karcher Obituary

ELLEN GRACE KARCHER Ellen Grace Karcher, 83, of Lupton, Michigan passed away peacefully on Thursday, Feb 13, 2025, with her son by her side. Ellen was born on April 18, 1941, to Charles Blood and Kathlene O'Meara in Bay City, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers James Blood Sr, Micheal Blood, Patrick J. Matthews, sister Joyce Kangas and sister-in-law, Sandy Blood. She is survived by her son Jeremiah {Stephanie} Karcher of Belleville, brother Larry Matthews of Lupton, sister Liz {Mike} Roe of Paw Paw, sister-in-law Blanche Blood, grandchildren Jacob Strine-Karcher, Katelin Strine, and great-grandchild, Liam Strine. Ellen loved animals and enjoyed wild life. She brought every animal home that didn't have a home, and it was the best. She also enjoyed going for long walks around the "block" in Lupton with her good friend, Sue Burke. Ellen was a loving soul and will be missed dearly by so many. Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
