Robert Hudson Obituary
Robert Hudson, Sr., age 86, passed away on Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, with his loving family by his side in Bridgewater, N.J. Bob was born in Owensboro, Ky. on May 8, 1939, to James Byron Hudson and Ann Hosler Hudson. Bob grew up in Crestwood, Ky. with four brothers and a sister. He graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in mechanical engineering and worked at Western Union and Motorola in N.Y. throughout his long career. Bob raised his family in Westwood, N.J. Bob was skilled in gardening, golf and stone carving. Above all, he loved his family.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Hudson; his two children, Robert Hudson, Jr. and his wife Christine and Patricia Maloney and her husband John; his beloved grandchildren, Samuel and Lilah Hudson and Jack and Elizabeth Maloney; and his siblings, Herb and John Hudson and Juliana Hudson Klein.
Bob is preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas W. Hudson and James B. Hudson.

Bob was a very lovely person. A southern gentleman, a good family man and a good family friend. My family has many happy memories of Bob and the Hudson family.
