I was Doug #1. He was Doug #2. I called him on July 2. I hadn't talk to him in several years. We had a brief talk and laughed along. I loved him. He was big in my life.

I have such fond memories of Doug on the Deschutes River fishing for summer steelhead swinging flies. Doug was more than generous. Doug was instrumental in helping get the Harris Canyon water tower restored on the Deschutes River in 2009. Doug will be deeply missed by so many. Ron Walp/Maupin, OR.
