Douglas Campbell Obituary

Doug passed away peacefully at his log cabin on the Deschutes River in Bend, Oregon on July 6, 2025. A native Oregonian, Doug loved the water, growing up on the Willamette River in Milwaukie. He attended Rex Putnam High School and matriculated to Oklahoma State University on a full ride wrestling scholarship. He was a gifted coach and teacher, which later helped him succeed in the real estate industry in Portland. He was an avid fly fisherman and loved the great outdoors. Doug is survived by his wife, Anne; brother Dale; his children, Erica and Wes; and four grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, Don and Donna Campbell and his daughter Erin. The family plans to spread his ashes on the Snake River during the steelhead run. In respect of Doug's wishes, there will not be a funeral. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Native Fish Society.
