On September 4, 2025, the Lord beckoned His child, Lucredia Evans Ingram to join His heavenly choir.

On July 23, 1957, a 3rd baby girl was born in New Orleans, LA to Earl A. Evans, Sr. and Onesther Eugene Evans. She was reared initially by her uncle and aunt Harold Johnson and Ethel Evans Johnson, and later by her paternal grandparents Walter Evans and Lillian Paul Evans. She was blessed with 3 dads and 3 moms, all actively involved in her life. Creda accepted Christ at the age of 9 years old and was baptized in 1966 at Mount Zion Baptist Church in St. Rose, LA. She was a native of St. Rose, LA and a resident of Hahnville, LA. She was educated in the St. Charles Parish Public School System attending Pecan Grove Elementary, New Sarpy School and Destrehan High School where she graduated in 1975. She received an Associate of Science degree from Phillips Junior College.

Creda was joined in holy matrimony to Jerry Lee Ingram December 1997. She was blessed with the gift of caring and singing. She sacrificed her early years to care for her paternal grandparents until their death, and later dedicated time to care for her maternal grandmother until her death. Creda was a songbird. She loved gospel and R&B music. Creda had a passion for cooking and baking. Her gumbo, cornish hens, mirliton (chayote) casserole, sweet potato and banana nut breads, red beans, white beans, bread pudding, pecan candy, and much more were to die for.
Creda was an active and faithful member of Mount Zion Baptist Church for 59 years until her death. She was a dedicated and faithful church and choir member until her health declined. She was one of the original founders of the "Voices of Zion Youth Choir''. Her favorite song was "The Lord Will Make a Way Somehow"

Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her in her role as a wife, sister and friend.

Creda was last employed by Metairie Health Care as the food service manager until she retired in 2019. Her career afforded her to meet many people from diverse backgrounds.

Creda leaves to cherish her legacy: the love of her life, Jerry Lee Ingram; 5 sisters: Cheryl (Earl) Brown of St. Rose, Cassandra (Jarvis) Harris of Marietta, GA, Katrina Butler (James) of Luling, Sonja E. Blount of LaPlace, and Melanie (Kenneth) of St. Rose; 2provisional sisters: Tonya and Marlette Johnson of St. Rose; 1 functional sister: Genevieve Vinnett of St. Rose; 2 brothers: Earl A. Evans Jr. of Luling and Kendrick Johnson Sr. (Angela) of Destrehan; devoted nephews: Donnell Taylor of Destrehan, Chence Evans Sr. of New Orleans, Carl Evans of Zachary, Antoine Evans of Laplace, Jyrus Evans of Houston, TX, Joseph Aubert of Minneapolis, MN, Earl Brown II of Gonzales; devoted nieces: Kenyata Sharper, Cashondra Charles, Trechell Evans, and Britny Aubert all of St. Rose, Junika Monroe of Sunset, LA, Dr. Jada Harris, MD of Washington, D.C., Jemyra Butler of Luling, Dr. Jasmine Harris of Philadelphia, PA, Di' Jonne Blount, DeAngela Blount and Dominique Blount all of LaPlace, LA, Arrieonna Brown of Gonzales; God children: Felicia E. Travis, Adrian Johnson, Kristian Blanchard, Ryan McClain, and K' Toire, also, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and a host of many relatives and friends.

Creda was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Onesther Evans, paternal grandparents Walter and Lillian Evans, maternal grandparents Frederick and Gladys Blue White; Clarence and Ruby Eugene., provisional parents Harold Johnson and Ethel Evans Johnson; sisters June Marie Evans and Patrice Evans Jarrow; sister-in-love Orlester Mamon Evans and nephew Kenneth Aubert Jr.

Relatives and friends of the family, Pastors, officers and members of Mt. Zion Baptist Church of St. Rose, LA and all neighboring Churches are invited to a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00am on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 100 2nd Street, St. Rose, LA 70087. Visitation 9:00am until the time of service at the above-named Church. Interment Jefferson Memorial Gardens, 11316 River Rd, St. Rose, LA.
