Edith Poulin Obituary

Edith Catherine Poulin was born March 30, 1920, in Searsmont, Maine, to a poor family of farmers.
She had 10 brothers and one sister. Edith was the middle child. Her childhood and young adulthood were very difficult years, but then her life took a turn for the better when she met the Lord.
She worked in many different fields and out lived several husbands. Even though she had no children of her own, she "adopted" just about everyone she met. Many referred to her as Mama.
She was a sweet, loving lady.  She loved everyone and everyone loved her. She loved gardening, crafting, and baking, but what she loved most was people. Edith loved helping others. One of her favorite jobs was a volunteer at the hospital for many years.
Sadly for us she passed away on March 30, 2025, on her birthday at Radiant Nursing and Rehab. She will be greatly missed but as she used to say, " We don't say goodbye, but see you later." Looking forward to that day.
Edith's remarkable life will be celebrated on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at San Mateo Baptist Church.
Watts Funeral Home assisted the family.
