Ellen J. Aeschleman

January 24, 1962 - July 3, 2025

Ellen J. Aeschleman, 63, of Eureka, Ill., formerly of Secor, Ill., passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Normal, Ill.

She was born on January 24, 1962 in Peoria, Ill. to Harold "Stogy" and Betty Huston Steidinger.

Survivors include her daughter, Christina (Dustin) Iverson of Benson; three sisters, Judy McCarthy of Costa Rica, Nina Steidinger and Amy Turner both of El Paso; two grandchildren, granddaughter, Hayden Iverson and grandson, Damon Iverson. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Ellen made her home at The Association for the Developmentally Disabled of Woodford County (ADDWC) group home where she was loved and cared for since 2004 and worked at their recycling program.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso. Cremation will be accorded following the visitation. Private inurnment will be held in Secor Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to ADDWC in Eureka. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.ruestmanharrisfuneralhome.com.
