Robin Johnson Obituary

Robin Johnson

August 12, 1955 - October 17, 2024

Robin Johnson was born in Gibson City, Illinois, on August 12th, 1955. He died peacefully at Truman Lake Manor in Lowry City, Missouri, on October 17th, 2024. He lived much of his life in Mattoon, Illinois, but in his later years, he lived near his family in Osceola, Missouri.

He was the second son of James (Jim) Johnson and Delores Erickson, who both preceded him in death.

Robin is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, James(Jimmy) and Lauren Johnson; granddaughters, Joanna, Leah, and Callie Johnson; brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Susie Johnson; and nephew, Matthew (Matt) Johnson.

Robin will be remembered for his humor, smile, quick wit, and intelligence. He worked hard in a variety of fields, including maintenance, property management, and real estate. He was a faithful member of the Vista Baptist Church, enjoyed singing hymns, watching his granddaughters play T-ball, walking his favorite dog, Choctaw, and watching movies, especially James Bond.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff of Truman Lake Manor, Compassus Hospice, and the members of Vista Baptist Church.

Robin Johnson will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions to Vista Baptist Church.
