Connie Pearl Risinger, age 84, of Paragould, went to be with the Lord July 10, 2025, at The Greenhouse Cottages of Belle Meade in Paragould.
The daughter of the late Noah and Pearl Nelson Garner, she was born in Beech Grove. Connie and her husband, Eddie Risinger, owned and operated Risnger General Merchandise in Cardwell, Mo., for 38 years. Connie was also a former Mayor of Cardwell. Connie was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Eddie Risinger and Bud Malone; a stepson, Harold Risinger; four sisters, Marilyn Horne, Carolyn Smith, Etta Forrester and Gretta Dehm; and a brother, Glen Garner.
Survivors include two nephews, Stanley K. Morrow (Michelle) and Dennis Risinger (Cindy), all of Paragould; a great-nephew, Dr. Briar Morrow (Dr. Hayley Morrow) of Chesterfield, Mo.; two brothers, Rudy Garner of Oak Grove Heights and Stanley Garner (Betty) of Danville; a sister, Linda Morrow of Paragould; a step granddaughter, Kelli Risinger Randall of Manchester, Tenn.; and two step great-grandchildren, Cameron and Brooklyn Randall of Manchester, Tenn. Connie also leaves a host of other family and friends.
Graveside service was Saturday, July 12, at 11:30 a.m. at Cardwell Cemetery with Bro. Doug Clinton officiating.
Serving as pallbearers were Dennis Risinger, Stan Garner, Allen Dehm, Bobby Joe Willie, Briar Morrow and Stanley K. Morrow.
The family received visitors on Saturday morning from 9:30-11:00 a.m. in the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff and CNAs at Belle Meade Nursing Home in Paragould who took care of Connie. Lasting memorials may be made to the Cardwell, Mo., cemetery fund.
