Rest in peace, Susan. I will remember all our shared good times at the 3 Lions and Market Square and the parties at my house with Randy, Barb and Sheila. We did have some rare and hilarious times! Thank you so much for being that great person in my life. You will always be remembered.

I was Susan's caregiver for the past 8 months. Susan honestly changed my life. I have never met someone so caring and positive in my life. She almost never had a bad day and when she did I never saw her smile go away. I will deeply miss her and will remember her always. My condolences to Elizabeth and Marion, they are equally as great as Susan was. Love,Taylor Anders

I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Susan. She was such a kind person and always had a smile on her face, even through her courageous fight with cancer. My condolences go out to Billy, Michael, and all of the Patterson family, and to Elizabeth and her family. May Susan rest in peace. I know she is now with Betty having a wonderful time.

I worked with Susan at Klett Rooney several years ago and always appreciated her positive attitude and willingness to help others. She was a very nice person and very genuine in her interactions with others.

Billy & Michael:

Deepest sympathy on the passing of Susan. She will always be a part of my childhood memories as one of my first babysitters on Holden Street and our many visits to your house on Elysian Street. It's been many years, but I did run into her downtown along time ago and was amazed that she recognized me. Of course she didn't change a bit. So sweet and kind every time I saw her. She was so much like your mother in that way. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. May her memory be a blessing!

With love & sympathy,

Susan was a genuinely beautiful person. I will miss her laugh, smile, sincerity and glass half full outlook on everything. I am a much better person to have known her. My deepest sympathy to her family and friends.

Dear Susan: Put a good word for me in heaven please. I know you made it there. Your old buddy, MB

I remember how Maggie (Margaret Burgwin) and I looked up to Susan and Elizabeth. We thought they were the absolute "hippies" that we so wanted to emulate. I even remember them having pen pals who were prisoners. I thought everything they did was cool. Later in life I remember many wonderful conversations with her. She was always smiling and pleasant. She will be missed!

At our reunion this summer Susan quickly became the heart of our graduating class. She inspired us all to try to be better women. She was so generous in her love and support to all of us, she inspired us to face our own tribulations with more courage and grace. Susan, you are so loved. I know you are watching out for us.
