Ted Birkhimer Obituary

TED BIRKHIMER, 79, of Portsmouth, OH., passed away Monday, July 7, 2025, at Hill View Retirement Center in Portsmouth, OH. He was born in Sciotoville, OH., June 4, 1946, a son of the late Billy and Maxine Cropper Birkhimer.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 47 years Cynthia Peake Birkhimer; one sister, Penny Susan Birkhimer Coulthart.
Ted was an Army Reserve Veteran and a retired Engineer from GTE.
Left behind to cherish his memory are one daughter, Kelly (Ryan) Birkhimer Carter of Rosemount, OH; one son, Adam (Erin) Birkhimer of Wheelersburg, OH; four grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Ben) Carter, Austin (Rosa) Carter, Logan (Koriah) Carter and Jake Carter; two great-grandchildren, Lily Carter, Greyson Carter and several other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2025 at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Perry Prosch officiating. Burial will follow at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation for family and friends will be Monday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour.
