Glenn Corby Obituary

Glenn C. Corby, 74, of Albany Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 in his residence. He was the beloved husband of Audrey J. (Schwartz) Corby. They were married July 5, 1991. Born in Glenside, he was the son of the late John R. and Bernice (Weisbrout) Corby. He graduated from Upper Dublin High School in 1967, and later received a bachelor's degree in Education from Kutztown University in 1971. He was into everything at KU, and was always fond of his time spent there. Glenn worked as a police officer in Lansdale Borough for 27 years, retiring in 2000. He also volunteered as a firefighter for Fairmount Fire Department, Lansdale, where he was a life member. He enjoyed horseback riding, his dogs, and camping. He always loved landscaping, collecting H.O. Trains, and snow skiing in his younger years. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons: Brandon S. Corby, husband of Jillian A. (Adams), Pennsburg, and Shawn A. Corby, husband of Bobbi (Bell) Sellersville; two step-sons: Erik S. Bauchanan, West Chester, and Thomas D. Healy, Bedminster, PA; and four grandchildren.
