Constance M. Metz

December 23, 1933 - June 28, 2025

Constance M. Metz, 91, of Somers Point, NJ passed away peacefully on June 28, 2025, at complete care nursing home in CMCH. She was born in Phila., PA, on December 23, 1933, and relocated to Linwood, NJ where she resided for 25 years. She worked at Shoprite in Somers Point for 40 years and loved the people she worked with. She loved her pets, she loved gardening and enjoyed traveling with her friends.

She is survived by her children, Linda Miller (Wayne), William Metz, Christine McGlynn (Daniel); seven grandchildren, Wayne Miller (Jenna), Scott Miller (Kelsey), Stephanie Metz, Kelly McGlynn, Jessica McGlynn, Nina Metz, Julie Metz; and four great-grandchildren, Averie, Bria, Leo, and Caleb. Connie was preceded in death by her mother, June Tumalo; brother, Kenneth Klemis; and son, Steven Metz.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial visitation which will be held Monday, July 7, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Middleton-Stroble & Zale Funeral Home on 304 Shore Rd in Somers Point. Service and burial will be private.

Donations can be made to Beacon Animal Rescue at 701 Butter Rd, Ocean View, NJ 08230.

Special thanks to the nurses and aides at complete care in CMCH and Serenity Hospice.
