Roberta "Bobbie" Jean Weik, 77, of Park Falls, Wisconsin passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Park Manor Nursing Home under the care of Compassus Hospice Care and Park Manor staff. She was born March 2, 1948, in Park Falls to late Robert and Jeanne (Warren) Symonik. She was married on November 6, 1976, to Larry Weik. Her favorites things in life were family gatherings, especially at Christmas time with cream cheese comas and too many gifts.
Other favorites included home-made fish fries, steak on the grill, and dumplings and sauerkraut. Bobbie also enjoyed bowling and pool and was also an avid gardener as her flowers flourished under her green thumb. Bobbie's career began at St. Croix as an office assistant after she graduated from Northwood Technical College in Ashland. She then worked many years at the Park Falls Credit Union and retired from Marshfield Clinic-Park Falls Center.
Survivors include her three daughters: Crystal Kundinger Cowling of Fifield, Lynn Kundinger of Wausau, and Sherry Weik (Mike Lange) of Three Lakes; one brother, Mark (Cindy) Symonik of Ypsilanti, MI. Five grandchildren: Rachel (Richard) Fuehrer of Marshfield, Logan Cowling of Fifield, Kyle King (Kaitlin Montalbano) of Knowlton, Lance King of Wausau, and Bryce Martinovich of Three Lakes. She is further survived by two great-grandchildren, Greysen and Margo Fuehrer, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law Glenn Cowling and her in-laws Maynard and Marge Weik.
Memorial services for Bobbie will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 7233 Balsam Street in Fifield. The family will receive friends from 10 am until the time of Services at 11 am. Interment will take place at Forest Home Cemetery in Fifield.
The family would like to thank the staff at Park Manor Nursing Home and Compassus for the compassionate care she received and Father Shaji Jospeh Pazhukkathera for his spiritual comfort.
