MARY RING 09/09/1966 - 09/15/2025 Mary Ellen Ring, 59, of St. James, died on September 15, 2025, at Truman Senior Living, Truman. Visitation was on Monday, September 22, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Sturm Funeral Home - St. James. A graveside service was at Fairview Memorial Park in Fairmont on Wednesday, September 24 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Mandy France officiating. Arrangements were with Sturm Funeral Home in St. James. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sturmfh.com. Mary Ellen Ring was born to Harvey and Bonita (Engel) Ring on September 9, 1966, in St. James. She grew up in St. James and attended school there through 8th grade. Mary moved to New Ulm and attended high school there, graduating in 1987. Mary continued to live in New Ulm, working at Dietricks and MRCI for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, doing crosswords and reading. She also enjoyed bowling and won a few trophies with her efforts. Most of all, Mary loved spending time with her family. Mary is survived by her brothers, Steven (Cheri) Kizer, Dean (Nancy) Kizer, Joe (Kristy) Kizer, Martin (Clara Guinn) Ring, Leslie Ring; 15 nieces and nephews; many cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Bonita Ring; her grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
