Mary Bridget Blauvelt

June 7, 1935 - August 2, 2025

Mary Bridget Blauvelt, 90, of Moline, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Overlook Village, Moline.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Rafferty Funeral Home, 2111-1st St A, Moline. Visitation will be 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park Cemetery, Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to PBS or Multiple Sclerosis Association.

Mary was born June 7, 1935 in Longford, Ireland, the daughter of John and Bridget McKeiran Hegarty. She married Donald A. Blauvelt on June 8, 1968 in Hannibal, MO. He preceded her in death on July 17, 2013.

Mary was a member of the Hamilton PTA, and enjoyed raising her children and camping.

Survivors include her children; Linda (Dennis) Bloomberg, Colona, IL, Rev. Mark (Leah) Blauvelt, Mt. Pleasant, IA, Michael (Patty) Blauvelt, Round Lake, IL, Rev. Timothy (Lynne) Polley, Kirksville, MO and Tracey (Anthony) Bultinck, Moline, IL; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grand children; 3 great-great-grandchildren and brothers, Jack Hegarty, Pahoa, HI, and Michael Hegarty, London, England. She was preceded in death by her sons, Thomas and Kevin Polley; sisters, Sheila Newton, Cathy Lewis and Angela Tobin and brother, Kevin Hegarty.
