Kathryn King Obituary

We cherish the memories of Kathryn Michele King who has courageously departed into the next step of her journey to be with loved ones that have been waiting. Kathryn was a woman of extraordinary strength, quiet grace, and unwavering resilience. As a widowed mother, she raised her two sons with deep devotion, wisdom and unmatched patience. Through every challenge, Kathryn remained attentive, caring, and grounded in integrity. Her life was genuine-a testament to perseverance, compassion, and quiet courage. An exceptionally talented artist, Kathryn found joy and inspiration in nature. Whether wandering mountain streams, exploring the desert landscapes, or soaking in the peace of a sunset, she felt most at home in the natural world. Her creativity, insight, and love for life were gifts to all who knew her.

Kathryn is survived by her beloved sons, Brandon (Amanda) King and Jesse (Melissa)King, her partner Gary Claborn, her loving mother Alice Acton, her sisters Shawna (Dustin) Garner, Darla Powers, Darra Masters, and her brother Darryl (Lori) Acton, her cherished grandchildren, Jaxon, Ethan, Makenna and Eva. She also leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. She is reunited with her late husband, Michael King, her fathers Jess Todd and Darryl Acton, as well as several grandparents and many more who have been waiting for her in the clearing at the end of the road.

Kathryn's legacy of love, strength and artistic spirit will continue to live on and those whom she has touched. We will miss her deeply and hold her memories close.

Services to honor Kathryn's life will be held at Casada Funeral Home in Rawlins Wyoming on July 11, 2025 at 1 PM. Interment will follow at Rawlins Cemetery. Kathryn Michele King 1961 - 2025
