Marsha Landrum Obituary

Marsha Landrum

Marsha Landrum, who was born in Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home in Temperance, Michigan, on Friday, August 8, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer at the age of 77.

She was an amazing and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother ("Sha-sha"). Sha had an extensive and remarkable career as a hairstylist, with much of her time spent at the Lion Store before going out on her own. She enjoyed gardening and feeling the sunshine on her face. She relished dressing stylishly in the most fashionable look. She liked going out to a casino and watching science fiction. Always dreaming about going to space herself. She was small in stature but big in the ways of the heart, as her family and friends can attest.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Stephen; her caring children, Jill Martens (Minnick), Rick Martens and Jay Minnik; grandchildren, Haley, Travis, Megan, Macy; great-grandchildren, Langston and Griffin; and sister, Joellen Brown. She was preceded in death by her sister, Martha Elfering.

At her request, there will be no services. It will be a private family Celebration of Life.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

My prayers for the family. Marsha was an amazing person and the only person I would trust to cut my hair until she retired. She was so kind and loved her family fiercely. I will always be grateful for her friendship and will remember her always on our birthday, which we shared.

By far my favorite client to see every couple weeks. Loved having you for the last 10+ years. So many stories we could relate to. Even the last few years, I was glad to spend them with you. You fought as hard as you could, and I admired that about you. I am sure going to miss you.
Prayers to all the family
