Donna (Guisti) Trzaski
Donna (Guisti) Trzaski a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend was born on March 22, 1965 in Waterbury, CT. She passed away peacefully on May 5th, 2025 at TrustBridge-Care Center at Charles W. Gerstenberg Hospice Center in West Palm Beach, FL. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, strength and dedication to the well-being of others.
Known for her beautiful smile, gentle spirit and vibrant energy, Donna devoted much of her life to promoting health and wellness, both in her personal journey and in the lives of those she touched. She inspired many with her belief in the power of healthy living, mindfulness and the healing connection between body, mind and spirit. A woman of deep faith, Donna found strength and guidance in her unwavering belief in God, which shaped her life and relationships. Her faith was a constant source of peace and comfort and it will remain a guiding light for those who loved her. Donna's warmth, wisdom and caring nature will be deeply missed, but her impact will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew her.
Donna was a graduate of Naugatuck High School, Class of 1983 and Connecticut Institute of Hair Design in Naugatuck, CT. She owned Changes Hair Studio in Beacon Falls, CT for many years where she met her late husband, Mark. One of her greatest gifts in life was becoming a mother to her daughters Madison and Mackenzie. She enjoyed being on the beach and fulfilled a lifelong dream of living near the ocean in North Carolina. She loved spending time with her family, gardening and was passionate about health and wellness.
She is survived by her daughters Madison and Mackenzie Trzaski, brother John J. (Claudia) Guisti Jr., sisters Karen Dunn, Debra Lamas and Lois (Paul) Haag, nieces and nephews Christopher (Christina) Dunn, Kaitlin (Holden) Thomas, Cameron (Stephanie Gryken) Dunn, Kendra Lamas, Peter and Jeremy Haag, Michelle (John) Brennan, Julie Trzaski, Frank (Sney) Trzaski, Kimberly Trzaski, Reed (Laura) Trzaski, Savannah (Sean) Gardner, and Christopher Bruton. Great-nephews Christian Dunn, Jayden Dunn, Cameron Dunn Jr., Lincoln Thomas and great-niece Frankie Dunn.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Mark Trzaski, parents John (Lois DeCarlo) Guisti Sr., father and mother in-law Chester (Henrietta Piasecki) Trzaski.
Donna's family will receive relatives and friends at Community Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Rd., (Next to the Post Office) in Prospect, CT 06712, on May 22, 2025. Family and friends may visit from 4-8 p.m. Donna kindly requested dressy, colorful attire. Burial services will be private.
