Doris Lynch Obituary

Doris Lynch
Doris Gisele (Lemieux) Lynch was born in Waterbury, CT, September 22, 1935, to Joseph and Eledeenne (Dianne) Lemieux. She attended St. John's Parochial School in Watertown, Sacred Heart High School in Waterbury, and St. Francis School of Radiology in Hartford, CT.
Doris is the mother of Cindy McNett of Topsham, ME, Dianne Lynch of Otis, MA, Greg Lynch of Winchester, CT, and David Lynch of Edmonton, Canada. Her grandchildren are Ariel and Lauren of Hawaii, Christopher and Jack of Edmonton, and Aislinn of NE. She has seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Reale Lemieux, and sister-in-law, Emily Lemieux of Cape Cod, along with their large family. She was pre-deceased by her son, Jesse, and grandson, Alec.
Doris was a resident of Burlington for 62 years. She was a communicant of St. Patrick's and St. Mary's Church. She was very active in the Burlington Historical Society and well known for hand-dipping beautiful beeswax candles.
As a philanthropist, Doris donated land to the Burlington Land Trust.
A celebration of Doris's full life will occur at The Ahern Funeral Home, 111 Main St., Rt. 4, Unionville, CT, on Monday, September 22, 2025, from 11 am - 1 pm, followed by a Graveside Service at St. Patrick Cemetery, in Burlington. Donations may be made to Brandywine in Litchfield, where Doris received loving, compassionate care at the end of her life. To all of Doris's family she was a wonderful woman very caring, I worked with her for 15 years in Dr Spinella 's office. Always caring for the patients. I am proud to say she was my friend. May she rest in peace.
