Mr. Foley was great at teaching but even better at handling individual students. We could always tease him and give him a hard time and it would never rattle him and he was good at giving it right back! He let me get away with a lot because he knew if he busted me on everything I´d have broken the school record for suspensions.
He was a great dad as well, very involved with his boys. Kevin I don´t think he ever missed one of our football games. I´ll always remember walking into accounting class after stomping a mud hole into Clarkie and his Dolphins and him saying "you played quite a game yestaday Supah Stah" in his Boston accent.
RIP Pete!

Mr. Foley was my typing teacher at Thomaston High School. He taught me a lifelong skill, one that is used extensively in our interconnected world. I still remember his typing instruction skills that he would dictate to us: "L, period, L, space; A, Q, A, space. . ." He made the class enjoyable. He was an excellent teacher and yearbook advisor. I was delighted when he was able to attend my THS class´ 50th year class reunion.
