Margaret Ann Beckett-Rinker
May 8, 1944 - July 8th 2025
Margaret "Peggy" Beckett-Rinker, 81, passed away peacefully in her home, July 8th, 2025. She was the daughter of the late William John Beckett and Florence (Normandin) Beckett.
Peggy was predeceased by her parents, her infant twin sister, Mary, her sisters, Evelyn and Jennifer, her brothers, Tom and John, and her former husband, Paul Rinker.
Peggy is survived by her siblings, Fred Beckett of Huntsville, AL, Louise Beckett of Conway, MA, Kathleen Beckett of Lebanon, NH, Bill Beckett of New Haven, CT, Christine Pelletier (Jim Pelletier) of Middlebury, CT, Joanne Beckett of Richmond Surrey, UK, Dorothy Beckett (Neal Fedarko) of Columbia, MD, Anne Beckett of Austin, TX, Jim Beckett of Middlebury, CT, Theresa Beckett (Matt Krug) of Fryeburg, ME, and Luther Beckett of Vietnam. Peggy is also survived by her many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Peggy touched many in her local and greater community, including members of Temple Bnai Israel, WAIM, as well as her sewing group, book club and aqua therapy group and will be sorely missed by all.
Funeral services for Peggy will be held on Sunday, July 13th, 2025, at 2:30pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson Street, Willimantic, CT, followed by burial at Temple B'nai Israel Cemetery (Mansfield Center).
