Winfred Lee "Duck/Ducky" Seals

Winfred Lee "Ducky" Seals, age 86, of Spring City, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2025, at home with his loving family by his side. Winfred was a member of Evensville United Methodist Church, served in the United States Army, a thirty-five-year member of the Masonic Lodge 512, and a member of the Rhea County Shrine Club. He was a Truck Driver for twenty-five years, and retired after forty years from TVA. His favorite pastime was fishing, while he also enjoyed going to car shows, cruise in's with his 38 Chevrolet car. His favorite place to eat was the Texas Roadhouse. Ducky enjoyed spending time with his family, going to the great-grandkids ballgames, and playing with his fur babies, baby white socks and daisy. He also looked forward to his monthly meetings with his fellow shrine brothers, Dayne Tharrett, Ralph Evert, Fly Runyan, Dick DeCroce, and Loyd Myers. He never met a stranger, loved to talk, and never left without giving you a hug.
Winfred was preceded in death by his parents, L V and Cecil Mildred Smith Seals; sons, Winfred "Cline" Seals and Ricky Seals; brothers, James, Charles, and Jackie Seals; and sister, Norma Jean Young.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his loving daughter, Sherry (John) Campbell; grandchildren, Robert (Toshia) Seals, Ashley (John Paul) Thomas, Brandon Smith (Erika); great-grandchildren, Scarlett and Ruby Seals, Johnathan and Colt Thomas; mother of his children, Helen Seals Johnson; brother, Ernest (Amanda) Seals; sisters, Melba (Mike) Albrecht, Elizabeth Ann Dennis, Patsy (Randy) Dillehay, Martha (Jim) May, Margaret (Walt) Harvey, and Naomi (Gary) Webb; a good friend and neighbor, Debbie King; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
A celebration of life with military and Masonic honors was held at 3:00 pm CDT Sunday, August 10, 2025, in the Pikeville Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Doyle Ashburn and Bro. Travis Smith officiating. Burial followed in Iron Hill Cemetery. Those who served as pallbearers were John Campbell, Robert Seals, John Paul Thomas, Johnathan Thomas, Colt Thomas, Scarlett Seals, and Ernest Seals. The family received friends 1:00pm-8:00pm CDT Saturday, August 9, 2025, and 10:00 am until service time Sunday at Pikeville Funeral Home.
In Lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Alhambra Shrines Temple, 1000 Alhambra Drive, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37421.
