Beverly D. Warnke

Beverly D. Warnke, 81, of Grand Island, passed away on January 14, 2025 at Grand Island Regional Medical Center. A Celebration of Life service will be held August 30th. Graveside service at Grand Island Cemetery 12 p.m.

Beverly was born on April 18, 1943 in Grand Island, to William and Hattie (Lorance) Bennett. She was raised and received her education in the Grand Island area.

On March 27, 1971, Beverly was united in marriage to Stephen Warnke. The couple started their life together in Grand Island, and ultimately returned after spending time in Kearney, McCook, and even Colorado. Beverly worked for Rainbow Bread, Alco, and Property Management Companies in both Colorado and Nebraska.

Beverly was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with Family and friends. She also enjoyed playing cards, traveling and cooking her favorite recipes.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Lyle (Lynn) Schwieger of Loup City, Roger (Tali) Warnke of Grand Island, Shanon (Ron) Matson of Kearney, and Russell (Rachelle) Warnke of Grand Island; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and sister, Angela (Garth) Wilson.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; husband Stephen; son, Kevin; brothers, Lyle, Norman, Ron, and sisters, Paulette and Ramona, and great grand daughter Aurora.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
