Mrs Mitchell taught me so much in Hime Ec. She always was professional and a great role model. Her and Aubrey meant a lot to me. My heart goes out to their family. God bless you and give you peace in the coming days.

I taught in King George Middle School from 1978 to 1987. I remember Brenda as always being thoughtful and willing to help. Thoughts and Prayers to all.

I am a 1972 graduate of King George High School, and Mrs. Mitchell was one of my favorite teachers. I took Home Economics for two years because I loved her so much. We started in my eighth grade in a little house behind the old, old high school, and then moved into the old high school (now the middle school) the next year when the school was brand new. Mrs. Mitchell was always very patient, very kind, and she definitely knew her subject! I always imagined that she must have the cleanest house and most delicious meals in her house.

When she was out on maternity leave, I went to her house to see the baby and bring a gift. She greeted me warmly and was a gracious hostess.

I have thought of her so many times over the many years that have passed since then. She had a huge impact on my life, and I will never forget her. I will be praying for God´s peace and comfort for all of you.
