He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, June Anderson; son, Howard L. Anderson Jr.; daughter and son n love, Tonya and Kevin Reagin; brother and sister n law, Loy and Del Anderson; and sister, Lillian Faulkner.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Newtie Anderson; brother, Herman Anderson; sisters, Annie Lou Turner, Louise Gee, Geneva Meeks and Gladys Johnson.

He was married to the love of his life for 64 years. He fiercely loved his close-knit family. He always had a smile on his face and was loved by everyone. He thoroughly enjoyed traveling, especially the beach and the mountains. They never missed spending their anniversary on June 5, in Panama City Beach, Florida, where they first honeymooned in 1960. His favorite hobby was collecting antiques, especially bottles, and enjoyed bowling, playing horseshoes and working in the yard. He proudly served as an active duty soldier in the United States Army for four years and was stationed in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He owned his own electrical business for many years and then later retired after 27 years, as an electrician, for the Dekalb County School System.

I´m so sorry he was a great friend we work together for years. He taught me so much. We both have the love of antiques, specially bottles. I will never forget him.
